Note: This is a Certified Product - A previously used item that may be in the original box or a new plain white box. Guaranteed to have all parts and instruction manual.
This set from 2002 was a custom LEGO® set designed and sold by FoundryDX. It has 561 pieces and can be made into a robot, a get or a droid. This one is in the original box, has been fully certified to have all parts included and has the original instructions on a Mini-CD within. The instructions and parts list have been printed out and can also be downloaded if you would like the PDF versions. This is a rare set and part of the LEGO® culture that is usually only available to real collectors. All the components are LEGO® original parts, no off-brand parts are used. A real find!
The set also includes a letter from the company to the original owner detailing the information. Here's how it reads:
My thanks for your purchase. It is with great pleasure that I send to you this 1050 VF-1S Variable Fighter kit. It is unit #031 from the limited production of this series of small production run craftsman kits created and assembled by myself. I hope you enjoy putting it together as much as I did making it, and that it gives you long and faithful service as you enjoy this great hobby of ours.
This kit was crafted and built using only LEGO® building elements. Since it is a fan crated model kit, it was crafted without endorsement or acknowledgement of The Lego Group or any of its affiliates, who are therefore in no way responsible for this kit.
I have made every effort to ensure that all the pieces required to build the depicted model are present in your kit, and that they are new and uncirculated bricks. Please excuse any fingerprints or other artifacts of the manufacturing process as this kit was put together by hand. Should you find a piece of unacceptable quality, or find that a piece is missing, please do not hesitate to contact me for a replacement part.
Note: We will guarantee that all parts on the parts list are included, but they are obviously used by now. Also, the site listed no longer appears to be active.
