Position Overview:  

As a Bricks & Minifigs Store Associate, you will play a key role in delivering a fun and engaging experience for customers. This multifaceted position involves LEGO® set assembly, certification of LEGO® sets, sorting bricks, and providing other LEGO®-related services. If you love LEGO® and enjoy creating memorable customer experiences, this is the perfect opportunity for you!  

Are you the person for this job? If you can meet all these requirements, you may be the person we are looking for:

• You've been building LEGO® sets most of your life.
• You know LEGO® sets and Minifigures like the back of your hand.
• You can easily determine each LEGO piece and know most of the color names
• You can put any LEGO set together in record time and take them apart just as easily to make them ready for re-assembly.
  
• You know the differences between REAL LEGO® parts and off brand LEGO-Lookalikes.
  
• You work well on your own or with others. 
• You love anything to do with LEGO® products.
  
• You know how to schedule your time and be efficient at what you do.

Key Responsibilities:  

LEGO Set Building and Certification:  

- Complete Built LEGO® sets to ensure completeness for sale or display. 
- Verify and certify pre-owned LEGO® sets for authenticity and condition. 
- Clean, wash and or dust built LEGO® sets for display.
- Maintain accurate records of certified sets and inventory.  

Sorting and Organizing:  

- Sort and categorize LEGO® bricks, minifigures, and accessories for sale or storage. 
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor and workspace. 
- Monitor and restock shelves and bins as needed.  

Other Duties:  - Contribute to a clean, safe, and fun store environment including basic cleaning. 
- Work on daily and weekly checklists of items to be performed in the store.
- Continuously work at straightening and cleaning.  

Qualifications:  

• Must have an outgoing personality and the ability to communicate effectively.
  
  - Must have own transportation and ability to work a schedule
  - Passion for LEGO® and a love for creativity and problem-solving.
  - Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
  - Basic knowledge of LEGO® products, themes, and history is a plus. 
  - Attention to detail, especially when sorting and certifying LEGO® sets. 
  - Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.  
  - Be a good fit for our team in behavior, personality, reputation and abilities
  - Be able to lift 25-50 lbs
  

Work Environment:  

- Standing and walking for extended periods. 
- Handling small LEGO® pieces and lifting up to 25-50 pounds
