Retail Team Member — Parties, Events & Customer Experience
Bricks & Minifigs Huntsville | Part-time to full-time (20–40 hrs/week)
Pay: $10–$14/hour, based on experience
We are looking for just the right person to complete our team!
About the role
We're a LEGO buy-sell-trade store looking for a dependable, people-first team member to join our full-time crew. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility — you'll be a visible face of the store, helping people find just the right LEGO® set or parts, host birthday parties, represent us in the community, and keep the shop running smoothly behind the scenes.
What you'll do
- Host birthday parties — greet families, run build activities, keep kids engaged, make the experience memorable
- Setup and attend Expos, Events, PTA meetings, and other functions — display and represent the store in the community
- Work the sales floor — operate the POS, assist customers with purchases, and sell add-on items
- Customer experience — greet walk-ins, help customers find sets and minifigs, answer questions with warmth and patience
- Organization & filing — helping keep our store tidy, both in the backroom and out on the floor; inventory and supply organization, some filing.
- Inventory & supplies — assist with receiving, stocking, and tracking product and store supplies
- General store support — whatever keeps the day moving alongside the full-time team, (other duties as assigned)
What we're looking for
- Outgoing, friendly personality — comfortable speaking to a room of kids, parents, or a PTA audience (Mileage reimbursement)
- Reliable and organized; you notice what needs doing and do it
- Cares about customers and takes pride in a clean, welcoming space
- Able to lift and move product boxes (retail/backroom work)
- Available 20–40 hours/week, including weekends, especially Saturdays
